Charm Abilities

Lead By Example – You can lend your mastered abilities to others. Name an ability that you have mastered, and pick a friendly character inside your leadership range. That character triggers the ability you chose. They make the Trigger Roll as if they had pulled the same Story Stone you used to trigger this ability.

For each additional rank you succeeded by, they get a +3 bonus to their roll.

Aura of Command – Your leadership range increases by 3 spaces for 1 round.

For each bonus rank your Trigger succeeded by, your command range increases by 3 spaces, and this effect lasts an additional round.

Quick! – You can shout a motivating word to an ally, making them move a space. You show which way they would move. If they ally is a Player Character, they may veto the move and return to their original position.

For each bonus rank you succeed by, you can move one more ally. (You cannot move the same ally multiple times.)

Encourage – You can improve an ally’s actions. Name an action, and an ally who will get the bonus. That ally will get a bonus to that action if they perform it on their next turn.

For each bonus rank you succeed by, you can name an extra check to give a bonus to.

Hasten – You can shout to make an ally to act, now. Name an ally, and the action you want them to attempt. They make the action now, performing all rolls on their own. If they are a player character, they may veto the action before it starts.

For each two full bonus ranks you succeed by, you can hasten an additional action. The same ally can’t be hastened to perform the same action more than once between each of their turns.

Taunt – You can force an enemy to take rash action. <Game effect needs to be written. This one will be tricky to balance.>

Recruit – You persuade non-player characters to fight under your command. To use this ability, you must spend a day recruiting in an city with enough people that some will be sympathetic to your cause. Your Trigger Roll will get additional bonuses depending on your group’s popularity in the location.

Communicate Advantage – <You can share an advantage earned from Sense or Mind abilities with an ally. For example, a Find Weakness bonus to damage.>
